Frequently Asked Questions
How many hours of coverage do you offer? Can we customize packages?
We offer two main packages, an 8 hour option, and a 10 hour option . We can add on additional hours if needed. Some couples in the past have decided on ceremony coverage only, or a fun video guest book at the reception. We are open to all your ideas and visions and happy to customize our offerings to tailor your day!
Do you offer drone coverage?
We always have our drone handy, and would love to fly it on your wedding day! Depending on the weather and environment it isn’t always doable, so it is a non-guarantee.
Are you the videographer who will actually be filming our wedding or will it be someone else I haven’t met?
Yes! We are a husband & wife duo team, and love working together.
What parts of the wedding day do you capture?
We typically capture the whole day from getting ready, to partying on the dance floor. Some couples have unique elements or special planned moments and we make sure to prioritize everything you’re envisioning.
How is audio/sound captured?
To us, audio is just as important as video. It is a major storytelling component. We use a mix of onboard camera microphones, lavalier mics, and field recorders.
Does the final video use dialogue from the wedding day or is it more of a music video?
Whenever possible, we like to add voice over elements throughout our wedding films. These may be natural sounds of the day, speeches, ceremony, vows, etc.
Can we select the music for the wedding video?
We choose the music on our end, based on your taste, wedding style, and details you provide in your wedding questionnaire. Since our films live online, we use licensed music. We have access to multiple libraries, so we can find the best fit for your film!
Do you require a deposit? When is the remaining balance due?
We require a 20% deposit at time of booking to secure your date. The remaining balance is due two weeks before the event.
Do you use additional lights during the reception?
Ideally we like to stay pretty mobile, so we only bring out our lighting package if absolutely necessary. They are small and dimmable, and usually only used for speeches when necessary.
How long will it take to edit my wedding video?
Our contract states 10-12 weeks. Although it’s usually sooner, we like to make sure we schedule adequate time for each edit so they all receive the care they deserve.
Do you allow a preview before final delivery? Can we make changes to the film once we’ve seen it for the first time?
Yes! Once you receive your highlight film you will be given the option to make any small changes. We offer one hour of complimentary edits to any changes, anything beyond that will be charged an hourly rate.
